The Simeonoff House

A large family home that is just that our Large home. For over 30 years it is where we raised our three children and all of their friends. Now we are renting it out to other families. It is an executive rental that gives employers a way to have several employees under one roof. In past it has hosted several family groups that are in Kodiak for a destination weddings. Groups of hunters and fishermen enjoy the space to relax after a hard day reeling those “big” ones and we have a 7cu.ft. freezer just for them. Our local Coast Guard enjoy having a place to transition whether leaving or coming to our island, everyone can stay even the family pet.

Upstairs is three bedrooms, one with queen size bed, one with a full size bed and one with two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has a tub and shower combo. The open kitchen, living room and dining room can handle a crowd. Just set up one of our jigsaw puzzles on the table and let everyone play. Electric fireplace will warm you up while you watch TV. We also have a collection of DVDs for your movie nights.

Downstairs has one bedroom with a queen size bed. The downstairs bathroom has a shower. The family room has a love seat and a click-clack couch that makes into another bed. There is a cot with mattress in the laundry room for one more extra guest. Also in the laundry room is a handy coffee bar so guests down stairs won’t wake the upstairs guests when they need that early morning jolt. The deck is private with a tall fence and is partially covered to be able to grill in the weather.

The whole house is decorated with paintings and photos of Kodiak, its animals, scenery and people here doing what they do best FISH. Deadliest Catch type photos of crab fishing are in the dining room. Bears, boats and eagles are scattered all through the house.
